No-exam life insurance
Which applicants qualify for expedited approval, the process when you do, and what happens if you don't.
Many carriers provide expedited underwriting: within certain age and coverage limits, they make decisions based on your application, prescription records, driving history, and other information—no exam needed. Some approvals happen within hours. Every quote here notes whether the product needs an exam, may require one, or doesn't require one.
What it changes
Fast-track approval still includes full underwriting. Your statements are verified, and a policy based on inaccurate information can be challenged within the first two years. The carrier may still require an exam or testing if their research flags concerns; you'll have the chance to proceed or stop at that point.
Who tends to qualify
Generally, applicants around age 60 or younger seeking coverage up to the carrier's quick-approval threshold, without serious health problems and no tobacco in the past year or longer, qualify. Some carriers will use recent lab work from a doctor visit instead of requiring a new exam.
Should an exam be necessary, it typically runs 20 to 30 minutes with a paramedic who comes to your home or workplace in the Highland area at no charge. For applicants in good health, the results frequently lead to better rates, so the exam isn't always a drawback.
