Questions
Frequently asked questions
Do I need to give my name or contact details to see quotes?
No. Six pieces of information suffice: gender, age, health status, tobacco use, coverage amount, and term length. That's all needed to show carrier rates. Your name, full address, and medical history are only requested if you proceed to apply.
Are the monthly prices shown the price I will pay?
These are the rates each carrier provides for the class you selected. After underwriting, the carrier sets the true premium and may confirm, upgrade, or downgrade your class. This site makes no insurance offer or rate guarantee.
What happens when I click Apply?
You supply your name, then the application is built from your chosen quote and transferred to the carriers' secure platform. Pause whenever you want and return later; signing is done electronically. Susman Insurance Agency, a licensed California firm (License 0B75129), manages the process.
Will I need a medical exam?
It depends on which carrier, how much coverage, and your details. Carriers offering Immediate coverage can approve eligible applicants on the spot; each quote states whether an exam is required, may be required, or isn't required.
Is a longer term better?
Pick a term that covers the years during which your death would cause hardship: an outstanding mortgage, kids still at home, or business debt. Longer terms mean higher monthly payments but a locked-in rate for more years. The tool lets you side-by-side pricing for 10, 15, 20, 25, and 30 year options.
Does this site sell my information?
No. The quote tool gathers no contact information, we don't sell or distribute any visitor information, and we track visits without cookies. Head to the privacy section for the full rundown of what's gathered and who gathers it.
